A Caribbean Cruise

Shake of those winter blues, why not go on a Caribbean Cruise!

There is more to a Caribbean Cruise than sun sea and relaxation, although to be honest mention Caribbean, sun and relaxation and I am there!

Until I began to research cruise holidays, I did not fully understand the benefit or value of a cruise. It had not occurred to me that you holiday on a floating hotel and visit many destinations thus making it far more cost effective than a conventional vacation.

So when I looked at various Caribbean Cruise Holidays I found there are over 35 destinations  to choose from Barbados, Antigua, the Bahamas, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Trinidad and Tobago and the Virgin Isles are just a few.  You can choose from many different packages which can include surfing, sailing, scuba diving, windsurfing and one  Mr Simon Cowells favourites jet skiing! The activities do not have to be water based, golf is well catered for, and horse riding along a golden beach has to be the ultimate if you are into horse riding, these can all be incorporate into your cruise itinerary.On land the larger towns provide excellent shopping opportunities.

The other thing I did not understand, is you can either cruise from a destination near to your home, or fly to the destination the ship is to cruise from, that way you can add a cruise to your holiday. So for example a week sunning yourself on the golden beaches and then a two/three week cruise around the islands of your choice.
